Danny Davis
Danny brings a unique background that combines experience in sales, marketing and business management in large corporate, a strategic consultancy and a decade of deal making. This background means that he understands the theory but combines this with a proven ability to deliver M&A integration, strategy and large transformations in highly complex organisations.
After a successful corporate career during which Danny worked on many integration projects for British Oxygen, Danny joined Ernst & Young where he advised on a number of substantial integrations before leaving to found his own consulting company.
The deals he has worked on range from small to large; a 100 employee company taking over a 25 employee, through to a deal worth $16bn. His contributions have ranged from 2 days training or mobilisation to 3 years of running the strategy, planning mobilisation, tracking, governance, delivery and successful completion of a $6bn deal across 30 countries, all functional areas and moving 250 businesses down to 120. The deals Danny has led and advised include integration projects for blue chip clients such as British Petroleum plc and EMAP Ltd.
Danny speaks at London Business School on strategy and advanced M&A and is Programme Director at Henley for M&A. He has also spoken at Ashridge and Brunel schools. He has been published in business journals including Finance Director Europe (FDE), The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) , The British Compute Society (BCS) and Developing HR Strategy.
