This highly practical two day training explores the use of structured products in Institutional and HNWIs portfolios. Delegates will have a chance to learn about the structured products market today and the main advantages of applying them as an investment strategy.
The training will begin with an analysis of underlying securities including interest rates, debt and FX instruments and derivatives. It will then move to plain vanilla and other reverse convertible notes as well as participation and capital guaranteed products.
Delegates will identify the pros and cons of using structured products in portfolio management including diversification effect, risk and regulatory considerations. Through a case study business risk for issuer and investor will be estimated. Finally, different operational aspects for back, middle and front office will be discussed.
This is a very hands-on training where all aspects of structured products will be illustrated with case studies and applied in practice through number of exercises. Participants will be better equipped to improve and manage clients' portfolio and enhance banks offer to customers.
