Anthony Brewis
Anthony Brewis is a co-founding partner of CandorSys LLP. He has had many years’ experience working with high net worth families and family offices in managing their assets. He is a former senior private client manager and business head, with extensive international knowledge and a background in many areas of banking.
Anthony is also a senior member of Nean Wealth Advisors (NWA), a firm that provides strategic wealth planning and succession services to wealthy international families. Prior to joining NWA in June 2002, Anthony was a Director of Scorpio Partnership Limited, a strategic research and consultancy firm, focusing on the wealth management industry. At Scorpio Partnership, he was responsible for the consultancy practice and professional training services.
From 1995 to 1998, he was a director at Kleinwort Benson Investment Management, where he was head of the international private banking sales team covering Europe, the Middle East, India and the Far East.
From 1972 to 1995, Anthony worked at JP Morgan, where his responsibilities included head of private banking for Southeast Asia and Head of the Zurich office for JP Morgan (Suisse). Anthony also held a number of senior positions within Morgan’s capital markets, corporate finance and non-credit services operations.
Carolyn Goldsmith
Carolyn Goldsmith is a CandorSys LLP partner. Carolyn worked in IT for Barclays Bank for 21 years, the last 13 of which were in Private Banking. She has experience in the development of business strategy through to implementation of business and IT solutions. Major projects include: responsibility for the IT elements of a major corporate restructure; rationalisation of a number of back-offices into one centre; design and implementation of a Private Client Relationship Management System; and development of systems to support a Global Private Client Advisory business.
In 1997, Carolyn was given responsibility for IT for Barclays Private Bank Limited the London based private banking business and in 2000, she was made Global Head of IT for Barclays Private Banking. She managed a multi-million pound IT budget and had responsibility for over 100 staff located globally supporting 17 private banking offices worldwide.
Carolyn has worked in London, New York, Switzerland and the UK Offshore Islands. She also has experience of working in Monaco, Hong Kong and Singapore. She has worked with regulators and auditors in many jurisdictions - including the Federal Reserve in the US.
